THE AGENDA ITEM REQUEST FORM IS RESERVED FOR COUNTY ELECTED OFFICIALS, DEPARTMENT HEADS and STAFF ONLY
 
The business of Grimes County is conducted by and between the members of the Grimes County Commissioners Court and by those members of the County staff, elected officials, department heads, consultants, experts and/or members of the public requested to be present and participate. While the public is invited to attend all meetings of the Commissioners Court (except Executive Sessions) the public’s participation therein is limited to that of observers unless a member (or members) of the public is requested to address the Commissioners Court on a particular issue (or issues) or unless the member (or members) of the public completes a Public Participation Form (which can be obtained from the County Clerk up to 15 minutes before the beginning of the meeting) and submits same to the County clerk prior to start of the meeting. Your comments will be heard during the Public Comments portion of the meeting. (Each member of the public who appears before the Commissioners Court shall be limited to a maximum of two (2) minutes to make his/her remarks. Time for each speaker shall be maintained by the County Clerk or such other designated representative of the Commissioners Court.)

REMEMBER: Any requests to be included on an agenda MUST BE SUBMITTED NO LATER THAN 12:00 P.M. on the Wednesday of the week PRIOR to your requested date. 

NOTE: If you have any documents that require the Judge's signature after approval IN COURT, you MUST bring the original document to Court and obtain the signature afterward.
