Justice of the Peace

The Justice Courts of Grimes County are open for Civil, Criminal, and Administrative Hearings. Approved procedures are in place to ensure the health of the public and court personnel. *If your health puts you in a high-risk group and you are scheduled for a Court or Hearing Date, please contact the Court one week prior to your hearing date. Jury trials have resumed.

*This procedure will apply to all Justice Courts in Grimes County
 
If you are a plaintiff filing an eviction or a defendant in an eviction process, you may wish to consult an attorney, or review the TJCTC self-representative Legal Page.

Monday – Thursday – 7:30am-5:30pm
